Portret Louis Polak in Joodse Huizen 3
Op verzoek van de Stichting Joodse Huizen schreef ik een kort verhaal over Louis Polak en zijn vrouw. Hij was zanger van het Koor der Groote Synagoge in Amsterdam en dirigent van kinderkoren in de Watergraafsmeer. Hij speelde een belangrijke rol in mijn verhaal. Het boek werd mei 2017 gepresenteerd.
Boekpresentatie Vergeten Slachtoffers Willem Arntsz Hoeve

Vrijdag 3 februari 2017 werd het boek ‘Vergeten Slachtoffers, psychiatrische inrichting de Willem Arntsz Hoeve in de Tweede Wereldoorlog’ gepresenteerd.
Er is twee jaar onderzoek gedaan naar de gebeurtenissen die er zich tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog afspeelden. VGN en GGZ Nederland hebben inmiddels besloten een Stichting Vergeten Slachtoffers op te richten om een landelijk onderzoek te ondersteunen. Lees hier het artikel op de site van de VGN.

Deze toezegging deed de voorzitter van het Nationaal Comité 4 en 5 mei aan het slot van het congres voor de Vergeten Slachtoffers op 10 mei 2016. Ad van Liempt leidde de bijeenkomst. In het panel vertelde ik over de achtergronden van mijn boek Zilver in bruikleen. Bij de Nationale Dodenherdenking wordt deze groep slachtoffers nu herdacht als slachtoffers die door verwaarlozing zijn omgekomen.
